STANDING SEAM
Standing seam roofing is mainly used in snowy regions because the snow slides off quickly. Standing seam can be
installed using all kind of metals: aluminum, steel, copper, zinc etc… The main advantages or standing seam are
that it looks very elegant, is very watertight if installed properly, is extremely durable and very storm proof.
Architects like the look of standing seam and also use this type of roofing in areas where high winds, heavy rain and
hurricanes are possible.
CMP replaced an existing standing steel roof originally not installed industry standards and installed a new galvalume
standing seam over the entire roof as well as over new additions to the structure.
